Immediate openings for an after school physics tutor and higher level math instructors at our Walnut branch. We also have math, English and sub positions at all three of our branches (Walnut, Cerritos and San Marino). Started by a Harvard grad, HarvardSquare2 Academy is an after school program offering instruction and tutoring support in all subjects–from AP classes, to Study Skills to Speech and Debate Club to SAT preparation–for students in the 4th-12th grades. All our classes are conducted "in-house" at one of our three branches, so our instructors don’t have to drive to the students’ homes.

Necessary Qualifications:

1. Must have a minimum of a 4-year college degree from a prestigious school

2. Must have reliable transportation

3. Must be punctual and dependable

4. Must enjoy and have patience working with kids

5. Must show evidence of standardized test aptitude by providing superb and verifiable SAT or GRE scores from past exams or by taking a diagnostic subject test

Preference will be given to individuals with dynamic personalities and prior teaching/tutoring experience and who are either:

- present or former teachers/professors, or

- individuals possessing or currently pursuing an advanced degree
